Access to/from Francis Street
An accessible parking bay and drop-off bay are available on Francis Street. A ramp provides entry into the Perth Cultural Centre and the central walkway.
- Facing south towards the central walkway:
- The WA Museum Boola Bardip is accessible to the left.
- The State Library of WA is accessible to the right.
- The Art Gallery of WA and Picabar can be accessed via the central walkway ramp.
- Access to the William Street level (including Alex Hotel, State Theatre Centre of WA, The Blue Room Theatre, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, and Picabar) is available by walking past the State Library of WA to the lift that connects to the CPP State Library car park (Ground Floor).
Access from James Street
1. To/from Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Blue Room Theatre, and Central Walkway
An accessible path of travel is available between James Street and the Central Walkway via:
- The CPP Cultural Centre car park lift, which connects:
- Level 3 (Urban Orchard level) to Level 1
- A vehicle-accessible route through the car park at Level 1.
- The exit at Level 1, adjacent to an accessible parking bay, provides direct access to the public entrances of Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Picabar, and The Blue Room Theatre.
- A walkway at the State Theatre Centre of WA James Street entrance enables access to Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Picabar, and The Blue Room Theatre, as well as William Street via the Cultural Centre Car Park Level 1 exit.
2. To State Library of WA, WA Museum Boola Bardip, and Central Walkway via CPP State Library lift
- Access to the State Library of WA entrance from James Street is available via the James Street ramp, which connects to the CPP State Library Ground Level entrance.
- A lift located near two accessible bays at Ground Level provides access to the Plaza Level, which connects to:
- State Library of WA
- Central Walkway
- Art Gallery of WA
- WA Museum Boola Bardip
- Accessible parking bays are available inside the Ground Level entrance and on each level of the car park.
Access to/from Beaufort Street
- Maps, directional signage, and information are available near CAT bus stops, drop-off bays, and tourist bus/vehicle stops along Beaufort Street.
- The James Street Mall and Perth Museum entry stairs feature a platform lift for additional accessibility support.
Access to/from Public Transport – Perth Busport and Perth Train Station
- From Perth Busport, the recommended route to the Perth Cultural Centre is via Yagan Square and William Street to James Street.
- From Perth Train Station, access is available via the Roe Street overpass, which provides direct lift access to the Art Gallery of WA and the Central Walkway.
Blue CAT Line
The Blue CAT bus service provides convenient access to the Perth Cultural Centre:
- The Blue CAT from Perth Busport (Stop 12) travels down Beaufort Street, stopping outside the WA Museum Boola Bardip (Stop 19).
- The Blue CAT from Perth Train Station (Stop 4) also travels down Beaufort Street, stopping outside the WA Museum Boola Bardip (Stop 5).

Three car parks provide accessibility to the Perth Cultural Centre:
- CPP Cultural Centre – 5 disability parking bays
- CPP State Library – 7 disability parking bays
- CPP Citiplace – 5 disability parking bays
